Victoria Ison is a Letcher County native who made the conscious decision to return to the mountains to serve her community. Victoria graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, before pursuing her legal education at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, VA. During law school, she distinguished herself academically, earning a Natural Resource Law Certificate and receiving the ASL Outstanding Student Attorney Award for 2024-2025. She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in October 2025.
Victoria's connection to Hatton & Watts Law Office runs deep. She began her legal career as a Legal Assistant at the firm before attending law school, and returned upon passing the bar to continue serving her hometown. Her commitment to the region goes beyond her legal practice; she is passionate about reversing the trend of young, educated professionals leaving the area permanently.
Since August 2025, Victoria has served as Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the 47th Circuit, where she advocates for justice and works to protect the rights of those in her community.
